JOB DESCRIPTION
Role and ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision and according to accounting principles this position will perform all financial accounting functions, budget development,  monitoring and overseeing the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Additionally, will perform certain general ledger reconciliations and reporting. Job requires extended work hours during peak work periods as determained by the director. This position reports to the director of accounting and works closely with other Finance related departments, Advanced related departments, as well as buget managers.Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field required. Experience in accounting, budgeting preferable in a university or non-profit setting. Strong PC skills, proficiency with MS Excel required. Previous experience with PeopleSoft Financials and or/Financial Edge and Raisers Edge software

Preferred Skills

Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Test

Essential Functions: Monitor and recording of financials activity in the Financial Edge Accounting System and performs reconcilement of accounting data and transactions.
